INFOTANGERANG.ID- New York Times merilis daftar 100 film terbaik abad ke-21 yang disusun berdasarkan jajak pendapat terhadap ratusan pelaku industri film, mulai dari sutradara, aktor, hingga sinematografer ternama.
Proses penyusunan daftar ini dilakukan bersama rubrik The Upshot, yang dikenal berfokus pada pengumpulan dan analisis data berbasis fakta.
Daftar 100 film terbaik ini mencakup film-film yang dirilis sejak 1 Januari 2000 hingga pertengahan 2025, menampilkan karya-karya sinematik paling berpengaruh yang dianggap mendefinisikan perfilman modern.
Film Parasite karya sutradara Korea Selatan Bong Joon-ho yang rilis tahun 2019 berhasil merebut posisi teratas.
Film ini menyuguhkan kisah tajam tentang ketimpangan sosial antara keluarga miskin dan kaya, dengan alur dan simbolisme yang penuh makna.
